Clear Collagen Professional contains 20,275 mg of multi-source collagen per serving, made up of hydrolyzed type I collagen and type II collagen from ChondrActiv® hydrolyzed cartilage powder.
In our bodies, type I collagen is predominant. It is present in many tissues, including skin, tendons, bones and cartilage.a
This product is an enriched version of Clear Collagen from our Beauty line, containing additional biologically active ingredients, vitamins, minerals and amino acids, to create a more complex drink. Its active ingredients can be grouped into 4 categories:

The product contains the amino acids glycine, proline and lysine, which are necessary for collagen formation in the body and are its main building blocks.b In addition to these three amino acids, vitamin C also promotes collagen formation. This is why we have added 180 mg of vitamin C to our product. Indeed, through normal collagen formation, vitamin C contributes to the maintenance of normal function of blood vessels, cartilage and skin, the maintenance of normal bone structure, and the maintenance of normal teeth and gums. In addition, vitamin C helps protect cells against oxidative stress2,4

The product's active ingredients also include hyaluronic acid, a high-molecular-weight polysaccharide (glycosaminoglycan) produced mainly by fibroblasts andautres special connective tissue cells.c Moreover, hyaluronic acid and collagen have excellent water-binding capacities due to their specific amino acid side chains.
The formula also contains lutein from marigold flowers(Calendula Officinalis), a carotenoid naturally present in foods, particularly green leafy vegetables such as spinach and kale.d,5 Last but not least, the product contains chondroitin sulfate, a polysaccharide present in living organisms such as cartilage tissue.
